How Merakify X handles personal data collected through merakifyx.com.

Who we are

Merakify X is the customer-facing brand of Nexus Integrated Businesses SPC, Commercial Registration 1555814, Office 724-27, Regus Al Fardan Heights, 7th Floor, Ghala, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman (“we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal data described in this notice. It explains how we handle personal data collected through merakifyx.com, under Oman’s Personal Data Protection Law (Royal Decree 6/2022) and its Executive Regulation (Ministerial Decision 34/2024).

What we collect

When you send a form (Request a consultation, Request pricing or Request help): your first and last name, work email, phone number, organization, organization size, and what you tell us about your request.
When you use the Solution builder: your answers and the estimate they produce, if you choose to request pricing.
When you book a meeting: your name, email, phone number and the time you choose.
When you browse: technical data such as your browser, device and the pages you visit, through cookies, as set out in the Cookie notice. Cookies that are not strictly necessary are used only with your consent.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data through the website; please do not include it in a form. merakifyx.com is for organizations and is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect children’s personal data.

Why we use it

To answer your request, give you pricing, book and hold your meeting, and give you support.
To keep a record of our conversation with you and follow up on it.
To run, secure and improve the website.
To send you news and offers, only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time.

We use your personal data with your consent, which you give with the checkbox on each form, and to take the steps you ask for before entering a contract with us.

Who receives it

Our team, and these service providers, which process data for us on our instructions and must protect it:

Our customer engagement platform, which hosts this website, stores form entries, bookings and website analytics, and sends our emails: data stored in the United States.
Microsoft 365, for our email: data stored in Microsoft data centres outside Oman.

We do not sell personal data.

Transfers outside Oman

Both service providers store data outside Oman. We transfer your personal data to them only with your express consent, which you give with the checkbox on each form, and only to providers that protect it to the standard Omani law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep request and booking details for 24 months after our last contact with you. If you become a customer, your contract’s terms apply instead; if the law requires us to keep data longer, we do. If you opt in to news and offers, we keep your email address for them until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under Omani law you may withdraw your consent, ask for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct, update or delete it, ask us to transfer it to another controller, and be told of a breach that affects it. To use a right, email [email protected]. We reply within 45 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology.

How we protect it

We protect personal data with access controls, encryption in transit, multi-factor sign-in for our team and the security controls of our service providers. If a breach affects your data, we will notify the Ministry and you as the law requires.

We may update this notice. The date at the top shows the latest version.
