A short animation of a Compute and Storage console. A private cloud runs workloads on Node 1 and Node 2, with a witness and two switches. Node 1 stops; the witness confirms it and Node 1’s workloads move to free space on Node 2, where they keep running. A daily backup copy from the Sangfor cluster arrives in Merakify Cloud, which keeps 30 days of copies. Merakify Care checks the backup job and tests a restore each quarter. When a node stops, the work moves on.

Two or more nodes run as a private cloud cluster with a witness. If one node stops, its workloads move to a node that is still running.
One node alone has no failover. From Sangfor clusters, a daily backup copy can go to Merakify Cloud, where it is kept for 30 days.
